ABOUT THE BAND

KORE is a Tampa, Florida-based all female rock band formed in 2006 and consists of Traci on lead vocals and bass, Susan on guitar, and Marisol on drums.

The trio has performed at venues across the greater Tampa Bay area. In addition to playing at pubs, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, the band has also performed at many events including the Florida State Fair, the Florida Strawberry Festival, Sunday at the St. Petersburg Pier, and the Sunscreen Film Festival. They also opened for national comedians Jon Reep, Finesse Williams, and Janet Williams.

KORE has been featured on radio, television, and in print. Their original music has gotten play on seven area radio stations and their music video for ‘You Confuse Me’ was available on Bright House cable on demand channel 340. They have been featured in the TBT, Vocess Magazine, Bay Area Beat, Metromix.com, BayNews9.com, and several other local publications. They recently headlined the Mamapalooza Summer on the Hudson festival in Manhattan as the Mamapalooza 'Band of the Year' for 2009-2010, where they also performed a song with Dennis Dunaway of Alice Cooper.

KORE is also available as an acoustic rock duo and has performed at the Girlz Garage at the Vans Warped Tour in St. Pete, the WMNF 88.5FM holiday fundraiser, area restaurants and bars, and at the Newport Guitar festival at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL, where they represented Daisy Rock Guitars. They also recently performed live on the CBS Morning News in the South Florida market.
