More Great KORE on the Radio

    Fr: Op Nocturnal

Just a few days before the Mamapalooza event, Susan did an interview on WMNF's "The Women's Show." I knew I wouldn't be able to hear the show LIVE and I couldn't be sure if the show would be archived at WMNF, so I had my computer record the show while I was away and just got around to hearing it this evening (Hey, I'm Busy!).

Even though Susan was solo during this interview, it's actually one of the best KORE interviews that I have yet to hear. Host, Mary Glenney, did such an excellent job of firing off really good questions and Susan spontaneously fired back with really interesting answers.

Sadly, I have not been able to locate an archived copy at the WMNF site (at least, I can't find it), so I can't invite anyone reading this post to go check it out, but I do have a copy of Susan's segment, which I have converted to MP3, and will gladly send to the girls if they have not heard how the interview turned out. Just give me a shout.

By the way. Considering that Susan has taken piano lessons since the age of 5, I can't help but wonder if she can play "chopsticks" or even Beethoven's "Fur Elise" on her guitar. LOL!!

I don't know why I'm laughing; she probably can.

    Your Name: Susan
Your Message: Thanks, Op.  Mary did a nice job.  The interview is on the WMNF archive at http://www.wmnf.org/programs/303 (select 5/22 and I think it was about an hour into the show).  Piano, yes.  Guitar, no...

    Hi Susan:

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

    Re: www.wmnf.org/programs/303

I checked that link before writing the first post and found that changing the date to 05/22/10 only changes the PLAYLIST and not the program. I also saw, somewhere, that WMNF does not archive shows containing music due to copyrights, so I'm thinking they only keep a copy of each show on the site for one week and replace it with the next show, which is currently the one for the 29th, and that may be replaced later today (Saturday) with whatever they do for the 5th.

Again, I'm glad I captured the program on my computer and again, thanks for taking the time to reply.

By the way, I was listening to "Prescription Addiction Radio" on the Sunday evening following the Mamapalooza event when all three of you popped onto the show via separate phone lines from New York. It was from that broadcast that I learned of Dennis Dunnaway's performance with the band and got the idea to write my bogus "Donald" post after one of you mentioned that the entrance to the park was across from Trump Plaza.

Not bad for a guy who's never even been to New York, eh?

    Gotta run.
